Bottomless Math

This product includes 22 different vocabulary practice activities to use not only for ELA, but also for math and other non-ELA content areas. In reaching my goal of increasing student proficiency in using math language, I needed a resource that I could use whenever I wanted students to explicitly review any math vocabulary. I made these so that I could print off copies for each student easily at any time for any vocabulary that we happen to be working on. These are great for students to resear

Students use tracking sheets and a grocery store menu to purchase items using $20.00. Students subtract each product's dollar amount from the previous balance to practice their vertical subtraction with regrouping.

Students practice converting percents, decimals, and fractions. I use the front side as whole group instruction, and the back side for individual practice.

This Around the Room activity has 8 cards that has students finding sale price and percentage paid. The cards are to be posted around your classroom. Students use their recording sheet to walk around the room to complete the problems.

This guided notes packet is designed to have students fill in the blanks in various areas, including terms, definitions, and visuals. Terms included are acute, right, obtuse, and straight angles and triangles, equilateral triangles, isosceles triangles, and scalene triangles.

I use this worksheet to introduce the process of how to find mean, median, and mode. Students can use the definitions as a study sheet, and the data sets as practice.
