The slides vary in content from a posed question that can be researched with by scanning a QR code and following the link to slides that contain questions that require interactive gestures to answer. There is also one slide that has an embedded YouTube video that compares and contrasts the sizes of various heavenly bodies in the greater Universe.

Experience
I have taught a combined total of 20 years in the Texas public schools, including 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.
I am currently an Instructional Technology Specialist in grades 6-12.
Teaching style
I approach all of my teaching these days with the question, "How can technology be a container for learning an objective?" I have witnessed dramatically how even the simplest of technologies can transform a lesson from something that turns students off to something that improves attendance and engagement. It even makes me want to be there more!

I am the husband of a treasure of a wife, and the father of 6 amazing children. I have been an elementary teacher, a middle school teacher, and I am currently astounded by the fact that I am being paid to teach with technology.
