This Figure 8 eye tracking activity helps eliminate any tracking issues that a student has when reading a book such as re-reading or skipping lines. This activity is meant to be done slowly and multiple times a week for a few months in order to strengthen the student's eye muscles.

The Column Jumps activity strengthens eye muscles which help eliminate re-reading and skipping lines when reading text. This activity also strengthens sound-symbol integration and processing speed. This activity can be used with multiple students.

This Sound Saccades activity strengthens eye tracking, sound-symbol integration, and processing speed. This is a great activity for reinforcing basic sounds all while strengthening students' eye muscles for reading!

Phonological awareness and auditory processing skills are the foundational skills in reading. This workbook contains 4 phonological awareness activities: Vowel Circle Switch, Rhyming, Segmenting, and Blending. Each activity comes with a list of either nonsense or real words that increase in complexity. A student tracker sheet is included for each student. This Arrows activity strengthens the eye muscles used for tracking to eliminate re-reading and jumping lines when reading text. This activity also works to strengthen directional language (left, right, up, down) which increases comprehension. Arrows can also be used to increase processing speed when used in conjunction with a metronome.

Each basic letter sound is written with a handwriting-friendly font on the top of each page. Corresponding pictures are underneath each letter. The pictures begin with the corresponding sound - with the exception of the sound "x" (which is at the end of the words). Also, the pictures use only the BASIC sound of each letter (ex: only short vowel sounds, only hard 'c', etc.).

Rhyming is a key phonological awareness skill that any successful reader needs to master. This rhyming game has no words - it's all about the SOUNDS! This rhyming memory game includes 40 pictures (20 matches) that include multi-syllable words which add a challenge for older students.
