This Figure 8 eye tracking activity helps eliminate any tracking issues that a student has when reading a book such as re-reading or skipping lines. This activity is meant to be done slowly and multiple times a week for a few months in order to strengthen the student's eye muscles.

Phonological awareness and auditory processing skills are the foundational skills in reading. Each basic letter sound is written with a handwriting-friendly font on the top of each page. Corresponding pictures are underneath each letter. The pictures begin with the corresponding sound - with the exception of the sound "x" (which is at the end of the words). Also, the pictures use only the BASIC sound of each letter (ex: only short vowel sounds, only hard 'c', etc.).
