Before that, I tought special education in the New York City school system. As a life long artist, I incorporate my art in everything I do. Experience

Before that, I tought special education in the New York City school system. As a life long artist, I incorporate my art in everything I do. My own education history

SUNY New Paltz with a BA in fine arts and visual arts. Queens College Masters of Special Education. I have studied at the Arts Students League Of New York where I was an apprentice in the fine arts. I studied Commercial art at New York Institute of Technology.

Additional biographical information

My passion is landscapes in the medium of oils. I am always on the lookout for inspirational places to paint en plein air (painting on location). I paint in a painterly impressionistic style. My inspiration and style comes from such masters as Vincent Van Gogh, and Claude Monet just to name two. I also enjoy painting murals because I get to work big. I have done numerous murals in the halls and doors of the school I teach in.
