This anecdotal record allows teachers to get a quick analysis of student comprehension and progression while reading personal novels. Students are required to complete this nightly after they read for 30 minutes. They are expected to make inferences, decode unfamiliar words and formulate a brief summary.

I am a veteran teacher of 10 years teaching American History and World Cultures (5th & 6th grades), English Language Arts (5-6 grades), 6th Grade Science and 5th Grade Math.

I saturate my instruction and assignments using Bloom's Taxonomy, Close Reading strategies, Blended Learning, and Sheltered Learning. I heavily rely on digital resources to enhance student engagement and intrinsic motivation.

I have a Bachelor of Arts from Wright State University and am currently in the process of tackling my Masters degree.
