"How Do I Love Thee" Barrett Browning- Analysis Chart
This chart helps students analyze Elizabeth Barrett Browning's poem "How Do I Love Thee?" from Sonnets from the Portuguese. The poem is broken up so students can work through it in sections, paraphrasing each section, then analyzing the message the speaker sends about her love in each part. I think questions are at the core of learning. The goal is to have students create their own probing questions about what they are reading and to form the basis of their research and writing.
