Brainstorming with Brissing

This resource includes flashcards for numbers 1-20 and includes ten frames. The resource also includes flashcards for common 2D shapes. You could print a copy for each student or these could be used in a small group to play memory matching games.

Students could use this resource in a math folder or writing folder, but it can also be blown up and used as a poster. I printed this as a poster for my classroom and it is beautiful and a great resource for my students.

I created this activity for my kindergarten class so that students could explore number sense. I wanted to be sure to include ten frames.

This is a game for students to practice using Moh's Hardness Scale. Students will flip over cards that contain either minerals or common objects. Whichever student's mineral or common object has a greater hardness wins the round and gets to keep the other cards played during that round. The students with the greatest number of cards at the end of the game is the winner.
