Your students can practice their equation skills with these Halloween themed puzzles.
Directions: Give pre-cut puzzle to students. Students piece together the puzzle as they work the equations. Glue on either black or orange construction paper for display.
Two puzzles included: (pg.1) one-step equations and (pg. 2) two-step equations
Both puzzles are similarly themed, making them great for differentiation.
Use this document for those students that have difficulty with setting up and solving Pythagorean Theorem equations. Page 1 is used for a missing hypotenuse and page 2 is used for a missing leg.
I copy this document front-to-back and laminate it so that my students are able to use it over and over again with a dry erase marker. When copied in smaller scale, it serves as scaffolded notes in interactive notebooks.
This organizer makes a great addition to student interactive notebooks. Laminate and give each student a copy for in-class use. Provides great support for visual learners!
