This document can function as a worksheet for homework or an assessment for your students after the material has been presented to them in class. About the store

Experience

I have been teaching the subject matter of Physical Education to Kindergarten-8th Grade students since 2003.

Teaching style

When starting out with a new group of students I will tend to have a presentation style that is teacher directed/oriented. But as time goes on and when the students are acclimated with me and the rest of their peers, I become more of a tactical teacher where the students have to navigate their way through asking/inquiring and communicating with their peers within the PE lesson.

Awards & shining teacher moments

The greatest honor I have received as a teacher is when former students of mine come back to me and thank me for going over material I have covered with them as junior high students that has benefited them in high school.

My own education history

BA (Television Production); December 2000 - Cal State Northridge BS (Kinesiology;Secondary Physical Education); December 2004 - Cal State Northridge Single Subject Matter (Physical Education) Clear Credential Loyola Marymount University; May 2011

Additional biographical information

I firmly believe that physical education is a key constituent in the development of students. The subject matter can help students perform better in academics if guided correctly. I view Physical Education as a multi-dimensional subject matter. I have a high interest level in healthy cooking/eating and I try to incorporate units in regards to food in my PE Curriculum. I also incorporate the basic foundations of anatomy for my junior high students to touch base upon, so that when they get into the next level of education, they will have that knowledge embedded in them when that time arrives.
