I have been teaching for 15 years, mostly in Kindergarten. I love working with my little ones because you can see enormous growth in such a short period.
Very simple H Brothers posters for introduction to the "th", "ch", "sh", and "wh" sounds and spellings. This would be most appropriate to expose younger children to the sounds of four of the h-brothers for the first time. Each poster has the digraph written in several different scripts. My students are introdued to one spelling at a time and practice reading the sound in each script just for repitition. All clipart came from Microsoft Office.
This groundhog-themed product contains CVC words to match with picture cards as well as Sentence cards to match with pictures for differentiation. It can be used in a pocket chart, as a memory match game, or as part of a small group review. The background graphics for this product were purchased here on TPT from Little Red's Schoolhouse.
Very simple pattern for younger children to use for making paper lanterns. Currently being used as a supplemental art activity in a Kindergarten class learning about Asia in Module 4 of Wit and Wisdom.
This file has five pages of simple equations with missing numbers to be used as a group or station game. Each equation needs to be matched to its missing number and corresponding picture. The equations are mixed - addition up to 5 and subtraction up to 5. I created this to supplement iReady Math Unit 4 in my Kindergarten class. I hope you guys find it useful as well.
These CVC puzzles are a self-checking and interchangeable way for students to practice reading CVC words. Some confusing words, such as pen and pin and mat and rug, are included so that the students can be exposed to them prior to assessments. I use these for students who can work independently as I work with others, but they also provide great remedial independent work for students later in the year. This file has enough pictures to make four puzzles. Other puzzles will be posted soon.

To help kids listen closely and hear r-blends. They will be sorting pictures on Christmas ornaments by r-blend beginning and no r-blend beginning. I was making this for myself and thought it might help someone else as well. I'll update as I add things for my kids - recording sheets, etc.
