This is a simple Powerpoint presentation illustrating the different fractions of an inch and centimeter can be used onscreen or printed as a hand out.
There are several different versions, depending on whether your students need to learn to the 1/4th, 1/8th, or 1/16th.
Especially effective when printed in color!

This interactive worksheet allows the teacher to instantly create worksheets for any Addition/Subtraction Fact Families.
For basic students, simply enter two digits and instantly create an entire Fact Family worksheet. For example, enter 7 and 8, and instantly create a worksheet full of 7+8=, 8+7=, 15-7=, and 15-8= math problems.
Great for Mad Minute activities or for introducing new fact families to the class!
For more advanced students, there is a second worksheet which contains thre
This Powerpoint is created as a companion piece for the book "Spaghetti and Meatballs For All," by Marilyn Burns.
This humorous story illustrates the relationship between area and perimeter, as the family realizes that as they push tables together there are less seats available.
Using the Powerpoint along with the story allows for a full class to see the actions important to the story line, and to make the connections between area and perimeter, and realize why area can remain constant but p
This is a two day "mini unit". It contains a Notes Handout, a Practice Page, and a Homework Page for Adding Customary Units (Day 1) and Subtracting Customary Units (Day 2)
Important: This is a companion to my Customary Unit Cheat Codes handout. You need that also, for this to be of most value to you and your students.
This Powerpoint gives you exiting sound and animation Bingo spinners for teaching primary students the following Geometry shapes: Circle, Square, Rhombus, Triangle, Hexagon, Pentagon.
You have two spinner types to choose from... one that shows the actual shapes, and one that shows the shape words. It's great for Smartboards, since the students can spin the spinner themselves.
There are printable Bingo cards for you to pass out to your students at the end of the Powerpoint file.

This is a Weekly Multiplication Practice packet designed to be used as nightly homework. It is similar to weekly Spelling packets that ELA teachers use.
By entering a single digit, you customize a 7 page Homework Packet to the Digit that you want to focus on that week. (For example, if you want a packet to practice the 9x tables, you simply enter the digit 9 one time.)
This packet includes a Parent Letter, 4 nights of Oral Practice homework with Parent Signature block, 4 nights of Written Pra
This Jeopardy Game focuses on 5th - 7th Grade Measurement skills (I created it for 6th Grade.)
Categories are: "The Ruler," "Customary Units," "The Metric System," "Elaspsed Time," "Perimeter," and "Angles."
Skills reviewd include measuring to nearest 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, cm., and mm. Converting units in customary and metric systems. Elapsed time, finding perimeiters, and measuring/describing/finding missing angles.
This is a list of cusomary units of measurements conversion for Length, Weight, and Capacity.
In my class, I use the Video Game term, "Cheat Code" to refer to these conversion numbers.
For example: If a problem deals with Inches & Feet, the Cheat Code is 12. If a problem deals with Quarts & Gallons, the Cheat Code is 4. You always multiply or divide by the Cheat Code to convert.
