Civil War- People Task Cards (VA 2023 USI.9)

This is a great way to review the people who have been taught during your Civil War unit! The first 9 cards of this activity directly reflect VA 2023 USI.9c. The activity can be stopped after question 9, or players have the option to move on to Part II where additional individuals are included in the game. This is an activity that can be completed as a whole group or in a small group. Cards need to be cut at a row and folded in half so that the person the player “Has” is theoretically showing

America 250: Quilt Project Activity

Celebrate the 250th birthday of America with this collaborative project! Students are tasked with creating one quilt square to commemorate the event. Squares can be cut out and paster together to create a celebratory paper quilt. I recommend pasting them to a larger medium such as larger bulletin board paper. Great end of year activity! The 250 will be on July 4th, 2026 while students are on summer break. This activity does not require technology!
