This smart notebook file has 44 pages of math warm up problems I project for the kids to work on. The slides consist of multiplication facts, word problems and models; division facts and models; area and time.

Students get a bank of multiplication facts that they need to match up with Array "Area" models. Then students can use the model to solve for the product.

I use these for morning work in math. They could also be used for homework. They cover place value, comparing, rounding, patterns, and addition with estimation.

This worksheet practice using models to add fractions. There is a model to shade in the fraction after the student does the addition. The models can help with solving the mixed number and improper fraction of the sum.
