About the store
I've taught since 2016 when I got my first job teaching ESL in South Korea. My students have ranged from age 4 - 40!
Most of my teaching experience is for younger, primary school students and upon returning to the US I took a position as a Kindergarten Teacher in AZ.
I developed a lot of different ways to stay organized and wanted to share both my planning pages, and some work specific to my experiences in South Korea to encourage a global education!

Korean Dinosaurs - Fact or Opinion
Kids love to learn about dinosaurs, especially dinosaurs from their home countries! This resource uses information found about dinosaurs in Korea to help students practice discerning fact and opinion statements. There are 3 worksheets for different levels of students. I used this resource with a Korean 7-year-old class (Kindergarten) and 1st graders in an immersion school!

Experience

Teaching style
I believe that children learn best with understanding and love, so I strive to show them that in my classroom. I believe in firm structures and routines, and pushing students within their abilities through supported exploration of passions and hobbies.
As a writer, I also wanted to instill a love of words in my classroom, reading and writing every day with the class to show them my passion.

I have a BA in Liberal Arts, an MA in English and a TESOL certification to teach abroad!
