To teach my kindergartener about saving money, I've created a chore chart. Chores are broken into $1, $.25, $.10, and $.5 age-appropriate chores which are identified through different colored stars. For example, a $1 chore earns a green star; $.25 earns a blue star, $.10 earns a yellow star, and $.05 earns an orange star. At the end of the day, my child identifies which activities she did and then places the right colored star on that calendar day. So, she might have 0 green stars, 2 blue stars
