Experience
I have been a teacher for about 18 years in the public and private school system. Within those years, I have taught first through fourth grades.
Teaching style
I believe in equipping my students with understanding how to use what is around them to accomplish tasks. By providing them with adequate resources, routines and opportunities to think and practice; students will be able to become independent and critical thinkers.

Just recently, I enrolled within the National Board Certification program and I am in my second year.
My own education history
I have a Bachelors in Social Work, a Masters in Teaching and 32 credits towards my Doctorate in Teacher Leadership.
