Teaching style

Teaching, to me, is more than passing on knowledge—it’s about planting seeds that grow into a lifelong love for learning. My style blends creativity, structure, and encouragement so that every child feels capable and inspired. I believe in making lessons: Engaging – filled with activities that spark curiosity. Practical – connecting learning to real-life experiences. Inclusive – meeting children where they are and helping them rise higher. Each resource I create is designed to light up the classroom, reduce stress for teachers, and make learning moments both meaningful and memorable. Because when learning feels joyful, students don’t just remember it—they live it.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Every journey begins with a single step, and starting Brightgem Books is one of my proudest moments. My greatest “award” is the opportunity to create resources that help teachers, parents, and students succeed. Shining moments for me are when: A child smiles because learning feels fun. A teacher finds a resource that saves them time. A parent feels supported while guiding their child at home. While I’m at the beginning of this journey, I see every download, kind word, and happy learner as a milestone worth celebrating.

My own education history

I hold a B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology and an Ordinary National Diploma in Computer Science. My academic journey has equipped me with strong skills in scientific research, critical thinking, and technology integration, all of which influence the resources I create. In addition to my studies, I have experience in curriculum development, academic support, and resource creation. I focus on transforming complex concepts into clear, practical, and engaging learning materials that can be applied in classrooms or at home. My professional aim is to combine my academic background with a passion for education to provide high-quality, standards-aligned, and easy-to-use resources that help teachers, parents, and students succeed.
