About the store

Experience

I have experience working with children and youth from 6 months to 18 years old across early childhood, behavioural therapy, and speech and language settings. My work includes play-based therapy, AAC support, language and literacy development, articulation, and behavioural support. I create visually engaging, structured resources that support communication, language, literacy, and diverse learners.

Teaching style

I take a client-centred, strengths-based approach, meeting each learner where they are and adapting my strategies to their individual needs and goals. I believe therapy and learning should be engaging, hands-on, and meaningful, using visuals, play-based activities, and real-world contexts. I aim to create a supportive environment where learners feel confident to try, make mistakes, and grow. My approach blends structure with flexibility to keep sessions purposeful, motivating, and fun.

My own education history

I have a background in Psychology and hold a graduate certificate as a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA). As part of my training, I completed a placement at a private speech therapy clinic in Ontario, where I supported clients in developing their communication skills while working alongside CDAs and Speech-Language Pathologists.

Additional biographical information

I’m inspired by the learners I work with and love creating fun, visual, and meaningful resources that support different skills and learning styles. Outside of work, I enjoy nature, music, time with friends and family, and bringing ideas to life in Canva.
