Teaching style

I bring over 14 years of teaching experience across high schools and universities, both in Canada and internationally. I currently serve as Head of English and High School Teacher at a private school in Ontario, where I teach English and Social Sciences, manage literacy programs, and design asynchronous online courses. I’ve developed 20+ full courses for Grades JK–12 and have led professional development workshops for faculty. My approach blends clear structure with creativity. I emphasize: Explicit skill development (reading, writing, coding, critical thinking) Project-based learning and real-world applications Inquiry-based and talk-for-writing strategies Technology integration using tools like Moodle, Google Classroom, Brightspace, and ClassIn My goal is to empower teachers with plug-and-play resources that are rigorous yet adaptable to diverse classrooms.

Additional biographical information

As both a classroom teacher and curriculum designer, I understand the realities of teaching — limited time, diverse learners, and the need for reliable materials. My resources reflect that practicality. I’m passionate about bridging Canadian and international curriculum standards, creating materials that are relevant for Ontario classrooms, U.S. CSTA/AP pathways, and beyond.
