This worksheet includes two types of problems: students are asked to describe graphs of quadratic functions without graphing and students are aksed to graph functions. There are two formats included: one with spaces for student answers and one without. Answer key is included.

Graphing Simple Quadratic Functions, y = ax^2 Student Worksheet
This worksheet allows students the opportunity to determine axes of symmetry and vertices for simple quadratic functions of the form, y = ax^2. Additionally, students are able to graph different functions. Two forms of the worksheet are included, with and without space for student graphs. An answer key is included.

My own education history
I received my BA from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX, with a major in chemistry and a minor in math. My student teaching was in the San Antonio public school system. Subsequently, I received my MA from the University of Texas at Austin in the same areas.
