This tool is used to set clear expectations between student and teacher. Students are held accountable for the following: 1. Test preparation, 2. small group interaction, 3. concept mastery 4. and presentation. This tool bridges well into all subject areas.

These are notes from a collaborative whiteboard session between me and a 6th grade student. I think the organic collaborative processing between teacher and student makes for a product that can be easily understood from both sides of the classroom. This product is pact a simplified process of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions.
