About the store
I have been a math teacher for 20 years and a mathematics instructional coach for ten years, for a total of thirty years in math education, all of them in middle schools and junior high schools. I did also teach math courses at a university for several years as an adjunct instructor.
The products in my store are mainly designed for middle level math. Some of them could also be used in high school algebra and geometry courses.
The products are a mixture of warm-ups, activities (BINGO, scavenger hunts, and matching) and worksheets with guided notes. The guided note worksheets are set up in the gradual release of responsibility format.

The regular worksheets include practice problems, usually with an example for each concept. The warm-ups are designed for two-week durations and include calculations, applications, and multiple-choice questions.
I recently sustained a head injury and am unable to return to teaching, so Teachers Pay Teachers is what I'm doing instead. I loved my teaching job, and the students enjoyed my classes and learned lots of math, so my methods must be effective. I truly hope you will find them useful and engaging for your classes as well.

Multiply and Divide Positive and Negative Fractions (Two Winter Season Riddles)
This activity is designed for students in grades 6-8. Students multiply and divide positive and negative fractions to find the answer to two riddles with a winter season theme. The multiplication problems are placed in the middle of the boxes so that students can cross simplify when possible. It makes it easier to show work on this. The division problems are written at the top of the boxes so that students can rewrite them as multiplying by the reciprocal. Multiplication only is practiced on

This product is designed for grades 6th-8th and 10th. It can be used as a practice worksheet or as a daily warm-up to review angle relationships. All of the questions can be answered using complementary, supplementary, and/or vertical angle relationships. Complementary, Supplementary, and Vertical Angles
This assignment packet is designed for one class period. Students find supplementary, complementary, and vertical angles when given one angle measure. They practice each relationship separately, then there’s a mixed section, and then they practice with slightly more complex figure drawings. This assignment can be used in grades 5-10 as either a review of concepts or as a practice for new concepts, depending on the age group and/or purpose.

Graph Standard Form of an Equation
This practice sheet allows students to practice graphing from standard form of an equation using the x- and y-intercepts. It can be used in any algebra course as a review or an assignment.

Unit Rate as Constant of Proportionality
This worksheet was designed to use as a practice assignment or to supplement Great Minds also known as Eureka Math Squared. Students are asked to find a unit rate, then use the unit rate to calculate the total for a given quantity. This helps students develop the concept that the unit rate is also the constant of proportionality. The assignment was adapted from the 7th grade curriculum, but it could also be used in grades 6-8.

Ratios and Unit Rate
This is a practice worksheet for grades 6-8 on setting up ratios and calculating the unit rate. There is also an emphasis on labeling solutions. It includes 15 questions on two pages and the answer key is an additional two pages, so the product has a total of four pages. It's easy to use for substitute teachers, also, because there is an example of each type of problem done for the students. Please contact me if find errors, so I can correct them. I have accumulated another 45+ credits over the course of the years continuing my education and staying updated in our rapidly changing technology world.
Additional biographical information
In the month of January during my 30th year of teaching, I fell, hit my head, and sustained a traumatic brain injury from which I have not been able to recover. This almost means I can't do what I love the most, which is teaching. It does, however, give me this time to share the resources I have created over the years. One year ago, I was also diagnosed with ADHD. My resources are the activities and assignments I created with my neurodivergent brain over the years, and they worked well for my students and me. I've had many co-teachers tell me that I am a special education teacher in real life, because of the methods I use and how I explain the concepts. My thirty years of teaching have been amazingly successful. I loved my job, and the students enjoyed my classes and did well, so my methods must be effective. I truly hope you will find them useful and engaging.
