Teaching style

My teaching style is all about making learning fun, meaningful, and hands-on. I believe in keeping students engaged through interactive lessons, real-world connections, and activities that spark curiosity. Whether it’s using manipulatives, games, or STEM challenges, I strive to create a classroom where every child feels encouraged, challenged, and excited to grow!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve had the joy of watching young learners grow in confidence and curiosity, especially in math and science. One of my proudest moments was leading STEM-based instruction on a high-performing campus, where I helped boost student engagement through hands-on learning and creative problem-solving. I’ve also been recognized by colleagues and leaders for my commitment to student-centered instruction, classroom culture, and data-driven planning. Whether I’m building number fluency with first graders or exploring real-world math with third grade, I bring energy, creativity, and heart to every lesson.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education from Sam Houston State University. I’m currently pursuing my Principal Certification through Lamar University as I continue to grow as an instructional leader. My passion for teaching and learning drives me to create meaningful, engaging resources that support both student success and teacher growth.
