This game works well for first grade and second grade (or any grade looking to brush up on addition facts up to 20!). The game focuses on the addition strategy of 'Making a New 10' and uses your classroom 10-frames. Additional materials needed (and not included): - playing cards (1 deck for each pair of students) - colored counters (double-sided counters are perfect, but any counters will work just fine!) - pencils - 10-frames Other addition strategies reviewed in this game: - Doubles - Doubles
