About the store
I currently teach standards-based mathematics for middle grades students with severe Emotional/Behavioral Disorders. In addition, I also teach a study skills course in which we investigate a variety of topics including: societal issues, current events, cultural studies, foreign language studies, social skills, career-building skills, personal finance, health, etc. I have been doing all of the above for the past four years.

About the store

Experience

I currently teach standards-based mathematics for middle grades students with severe Emotional/Behavioral Disorders. In addition, I also teach a study skills course in which we investigate a variety of topics including: societal issues, current events, cultural studies, foreign language studies, social skills, career-building skills, personal finance, health, etc. I have been doing all of the above for the past four years.

Teaching style

I currently incorporate recent, research-based practices in my classroom. I consistently practice differentiation and multimodal instruction. In addition, I hold firm that collaborating with colleagues is the best way to stay abreast of the most successful teaching methods and interventions.
