About the store
I taught for 35 years. 24 of those years were in 6th grade. I have taught all subjects, but mostly math. I then spent the remaining years of my career teaching gifted students of all ages.
I have taught 1st-3rd grade Sunday School, taught various age groups in VBS as well as directed it. I have worked with several companies creating content for math, social studies, and science. I also have worked with companies scoring writing assignments. My goal has always been to help students learn and enjoy what they are studying.

Pi Day Fun
Students will practice finding the area and circumference of various pies. On several slides, the equations are mixed up and students must "unscramble" them to get the correct equations. There is also a slide where they are given the radius or diameter and must find the area and circumference of the pie. This activity can be assigned to individuals, groups, or done as a whole class.

Students will roll a die to move forward on a gameboard. They will then select a task card that talks about the story of the Good Samaritan. There are 24 task cards with the game. The Jelly Bean Trail - A Place Value Game
Students will enjoy drawing a task card that has them to identify a number in the ones, tens, hundreds, or thousands place. That will be the number of spaces they move forward on the trail. There are a total of 28 task cards. This is a fun and quick review for small groups of students. It works best with 2 students, but up to 4 students works.

What Shape Am I?
There are 3 different categories for your conveniece. The first section identifies triangles-decagons. The second section is only on quadrilaterals, and the third section is all about triangles. Students will read statements to determine which shape is being identified.

The Commutative Property of Addition
Students learn what The Commutative Property of Addition is and discover clues to help them remember the definition. Students then practice this skill by finding equivalent expressions, and deciding if some equations demonstrate the commutative property or not.

St. Patrick's Day Quadrilaterals
Students will review the types of quadrilaterals by looking at the cute faces created by azuna-graphics. A quick and fun review to do as a class or to assign individually. There are 2 drag and drop slides, 2 multiple choice question slides, and 3 short answer question slides.

Spring Word Fun
Students will read 20 statements that have words that are spelled with numbers in the place of some of the letters. Students will determine what the word is suppose to be. This is a fun challenging activity for a classroom filler, centers, or as an individual challenge.

Animals of the Deciduous Forest using Multiplication
Students will practice 54 simple multiplication facts and use the answers to decode the names of 10 animals found in the deciuous forest. Students also find all of the problems that demonstrate the identity property of multiplication. There are some challenge opportunities listed at the end of the sheet for students to explore more skills (including alphabetical order, writing a story, researching the animals, and creating more math problems).

Practice Math Skills with Valentine's Day
There are 3 activities for students to complete. Choose which works best for your students. The easiest activity asks students to determine how many of each letter in the phrase, "Happy Valentine's Day." The second activity asks students to use this information to determine the fraction, decimal, and percentage for each letter. The third activity has students use these letters to determine ratios.

Experience
