About the store
I taught for 35 years. 24 of those years were in 6th grade. I have taught all subjects, but mostly math. I then spent the remaining years of my career teaching gifted students of all ages. I have taught 1st-3rd grade Sunday School, taught various age groups in VBS as well as directed it. I have worked with several companies creating content for math, social studies, and science. I also have worked with companies scoring writing assignments. My goal has always been to help students learn and enjoy what they are studying.

Experience

Teaching style

I like to integrate my lessons, and give students lots of projects to display their creative side along with the academic side.

I am Nationally Board Certified. I have been The Teacher of the Year for my School. I have been The Math Teacher of the Year for my county.

I attended Wingate College where I earned my Intermediate Education degree. I obtained my Master's of Education from UNCC as well as my AIG licensure.
