Room for Remembrance Activity for Social Emotional Learning Grades K-12
This resource is designed to help students process grief and loss in a supportive, creative way. Grief and loss can take many forms — the end of a school year, transitioning to a new teacher or counselor, moving, the loss of a pet, and more. Students will create three symbolic items in the provided boxes that represent what they have lost or are grieving. These items are then “placed” in a room template, which students complete and personalize. This activity opens the door for meaningful convers
