All you need for paper mache is paper, water and glue! It's great for early learners, students with disabilities, and teachers on a budget.

About the store

Experience

I am a New York State Certified teacher for Math, ELA, and special education. I have been teaching and tutoring for thirteen years. I started my career teaching algebra 1 in the south Bronx. I currently teach at Saunders Trades in Technical High School in Yonkers, New York. I teach autistic students in the Exceptional Student Program. I also have experience teaching social studies and science.

Teaching style

As a teacher for students with special needs, it is my priority to maximize engagement and to make sure my students love learning as much as I love teaching!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over thirteen years, I have been elected or appointed to positions such as grade team leader and department head. When I taught algebra, I was recognized for having the highest test scores in the department. As a special education teacher, I have been recognized for organizing annual events such as holidays plays, year end BBQs, and fundraising events.

My own education history

Graduated with honors from Binghamton University with a degree in English literature. Graduated with honors from St. John's University with a master's degree in special education.
