AP Music Theory certification - Eastman School of Music Master of Music Ed - VanderCook College of Music Bachelor of Music Ed - University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire

Additional biographical information

Bryan Kujawa currently serves as the Director of Bands and AP Music Theory instructor at New Berlin Eisenhower. He previously served as Music Director and Conductor of the Milwaukee Concert Band. He has made guest conducting appearances for the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, the Palmyra Eagle Community Band, and the Knightwind Ensemble. Kujawa conducted the pit for 3 musical productions including the Broadway hit, Mamma Mia, while serving as Director of Bands at Shorewood High School. Prior to that, he served as Director of Bands and Music K-12 for the Gilman School District. Kujawa earned his Master of Music Education degree from the VanderCook College of Music. He played principal horn in the Graduate Symphonic Band, piano in the Graduate Jazz Ensemble, and studied conducting with Alexander Kaminsky. Kujawa's thesis focused on Composer Diversity in High School Band, a topic he presented at the Wisconsin Music Educators Conference. Kujawa earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where he participated in several ensembles and was drum major of the Blugold Marching Band. In 2023, he returned to his alma mater to perform in the 100th Anniversary of UW-Eau Claire Bands celebration. He has performed with the Milwaukee Philharmonic, the Chippewa Valley Symphony, the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, the Kettle Moraine Symphony, the Knightwind Ensemble (former principal horn), and the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps. In 2024, Kujawa was invited to audition for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He is also a classically trained pianist, view covers on YouTube.
