This listing contains four worksheets. Two are for guessing the value of squared numbers to whole numbers, and two are for guessing the value of squared numbers to decimal points. Each topic has two worksheets. We suggest working with students to complete the A worksheet and then assigning the B worksheet as homework or self-study. These worksheets are for students who are struggling with pre-algebra and need extra support working with squared numbers and square roots.

I have taught English and Chinese from New York to Taiwan, and I infuse my passion for learning in the materials I create.
Teaching style
My teaching style is full-force, high-grit learning that focuses on comprehending and activating knowledge. I learned Mandarin the way native speakers learn: copy, memorize, repeat, expand, and test -- and it works. But, I appreciate the "fun" side of learning and try to incorporate interesting information, art, and creativity into my materials. Learning isn't always fun, but persevere and you'll have such a more interesting life!
My own education history
I majored in English and Children's Literature at the University of Florida (USA) and earned a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics at Macquarie University (Australia). In Taiwan, I attended Feng Chia University's Mandarin language program.

I live on a small farm with my animal friends -- where I spend most of my time chasing my two curious goats out of the veggie garden!
