Teaching style

My teaching style is built completely on the belief that relationships are the cornerstone of learning in the classroom. I believe in building an emotionally safe community within the classroom that is student-driven. Mistakes are always viewed as a celebrated part of learning.

My own education history

I attended Sonoma State University where I received a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Early Childhood Education. I returned to SSU to complete my teaching credential program where I earned a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I'm a certified Apple Teacher as a result of my work with the Apple ConnectEd Grant which my school was selected for in 2015.
