Experience

Experienced elementary and high school teacher with over 10 years in the classroom. I’ve worked with students of all ages and abilities, and I’m passionate about creating resources that are practical, engaging, and inclusive. I'm also a mom of two and an animal lover, so I understand the busy life of teachers and parents alike!

Teaching style

I believe learning is most powerful when students take ownership of it—when they discover, explore, and even teach back what they've learned. I love creating opportunities that spark curiosity and encourage student-led discovery. Creativity is at the heart of my teaching style, because I’ve found that when students are engaged and thinking outside the box, real learning sticks.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I’m proud to have been named Teacher of the Year and to have guided many students toward taking ownership of their learning and finding success. Beyond the classroom, one of my proudest moments has been watching my own child graduate high school. These experiences continue to shape my passion for supporting both teachers and students on their learning journeys.

My own education history

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Theatre and English Education, and later completed a master’s in Educational Technology and Learning Experience Design. My own struggles as a student have shaped how I approach teaching—I’m passionate about creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences that make education more enjoyable and accessible for all learners.
