I use this activity as a "get to know you" during the first week of school in 8th grade. But, it is also a great activity to use when you first introduce graphing points on all four quadrants. All students need to do is graph the points of all true statements about them, connect the points as they go, and shade in their final shape with their favorite color. These worksheets allow students to cover the topic of functional relationships and can be used as notes, independent practice or during class instruction. It covers TEKS 8.5G and STAAR like questions with various levels of rigor and understanding are also in the second worksheet "Two Truths and a Lie". Please be aware that although domain and range are covered in algebra, for the second worksheet students do need a basic idea of how to list domain and range based on a set of points or domain map
