About the store

Experience

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of educational programs, supporting students with diverse needs across multiple states. This experience has given me a deep understanding of different curriculum standards and teaching approaches, and has strengthened my ability to adapt instruction to meet the unique requirements of each learning environment.

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in strong routines and predictability, creating a safe and structured environment where students can thrive. I believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable, so I incorporate fun, hands-on activities that bring concepts to life. Most importantly, I prioritize meeting the unique needs of each learner, tailoring instruction to support their individual strengths and challenges.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years, I’ve been honored with several “shiny teacher moments,” including being named Teacher of the Year at my school. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as Department Chair and contributing to various school-wide teams and committees. These experiences have allowed me to grow as a leader, collaborate with passionate educators, and help shape a positive learning environment for both students and staff.

My own education history

I spent 11 years teaching in 2nd and 3rd grade inclusion classrooms as a Special Education teacher, where I had the privilege of supporting diverse learners in a collaborative setting. After over a decade in the classroom, I took time off to focus on raising my little ones—but my passion for education and creating meaningful, accessible resources for all learners has remained strong.
