I taught first and second grade and then moved into a position as a technology facilitator. In that position I taught professional development within the school, district, and at conferences. I also helped develop lesson and resources for K-4, and co-taught lessons in K-4 classrooms. In the state of North Carolina Technology Facilitators are required to become certified in Instructional Design. The program that I attended has a reputation across the country for being rigourous. My training focused on designing materials in a format that takes into account how people learn. All of my materials are designed with this training in mind. This means that I not only apply my experience as a teacher when developing resources, but the science behind formatting the materials as well.

Lunch Chart Labels & Directions
I have looked at different school district lunch menus from California to North Carolina, and made a label with pictures for each menu option I found. If there isn't a label for it then it is obscure. You will get a zipped folder that includes the decorative labels, some blank cards for obscure choices, and a direction file on how to make a lunch chart as shown. Tie Dye Paper Pack
This is a package of 10 tie dye paper images in various colors. They are 8.5 x 11inch JPEGs. The images can be printed for scrapbooking, and making classroom decorations. They can also be inserted into documents or used as backgrounds for websites. They can be used commercially for creating OTHER products.

Teaching style
I have multiple teaching styles depending on the circumstance and the material being taught. I prefer to be a guide helping the learner discover the objective in an Inquiry method. However, I feel that nothing is black and white and sometimes direct instruction is more effective. It is important to me to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of all of my students.
