This is a set of slides for the book The Man Who Walked Between the Towers. The slides provide pictures and links to discuss vocabulary and a deeper meaning of the text. It is meant to be used for an interactive read a loud.

This product is two weeks worth of lesson plans for the human body. They are common core aligned to fifth grade standards. This includes tons of hands on activities and videos. Essential questions, vocabulary, and standards are included.

There are four weeks of lesson plans mapped out for a fifth grade force and motion unit. Included in the plans is standards and essential questions. The plans have resources to meet the standards. The plans start on week three of a nine week unit, however can be manipulated to fit where they are needed.

I use this lesson at the beginning of the year. I also use it to retrieve a beginning of the year writing sample from my students. It is based off the book "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" by Mark Teague.

This is a fluency lesson plan that can be modified for any text, however has one stated for specific use in the plan. This plan can be used multiple times throughout the year.

CH digraph picture search with extra activity

Students will color the pictures that have a digraph in the word. You can even have students label the pictures.

The plans were created with limited resources, therefore most were found online or in library. The plans are meant to be a jumping off point or to gain ideas for character traits and motivations, moral of the story, and text dependent questions. Common Core Standards and essential questions are included.

This is a five day plan that engage students in understanding the events of 9/11. The plans include questions to ask for before, during, and after reading. There are video links and ideas to also use for after reading.

This is a 13 slide power point presentation that introduces vocabulary and provides visuals for the tools that are used to measure weather. Included throughout the presentation are discussion questions and review questions that can be used based on the needs of the classroom. The information is aligned with Common Core Standards 5.E.1.1 and 5.E.1.2.

This is a writing lesson plan for using the writing process to produce a final product. Students will have a engaging topic to work with and will go through the steps to deliver a final paper. Students will add color, pictures, and more to make their writing come to life. This lesson plan can be aligned to various Language Arts Common Core Standards.

This bundle contains plans for the first quarter that targets force and motion. The plans are a guideline based off of limited resources and some that are found online. This is meant as a jumping off point or to gain ideas from. Included is essential questions and standards.

This is a lesson plan that is for the first week. Included in the lesson plan is vocabulary, essential question, and the CCS standard. There is also a list of resources that can be used or supplemented when needed according to students' needs.The lesson plan includes problems of the day and procedures to be implemented for the period dedicated to math.

This is a three week layout of a third grade biography project that includes common core writing standards, as well as speaking and listening standards. This project can also be modified to meet the needs of the students. The standards have third grade specific ones, however this has been used in upper grades specific to their writing standards.

This PDF can be cut and laminated to make operation cards for the individual student. Students can hold up the operation during the lesson based on the operation that should be completed in a word problem.
