This lesson on error analysis will get students thinking, writing, and analyzing the work of others. I have included a short powerpoint with student engagement to help you specifically teach each type of error. You will also have 8 pages of Order of Operation questions with errors and a wide variety of difficulty for students to analyze. You will have 2 pages of Evaluate Expressions for students who are ready to move forward. Also, a full page poster for each type of error is included. Please

60 unique puzzles for students to complete along with "blank" puzzle board patterns for students to create their own puzzles. Students gain number sense and confidence by completing these number pattern puzzles. Use for math stations, partner works, independent practice, early finishers, etc. Repeated practice for +1, -1, +10, and -10 while visualizing the 100's chart (or 120's chart) to fill in the missing values.
