Turn learning about Canadian provinces and territories into a game for all ages. Using the classic Go Fish layout, children can collect 4 cards for each province/territory and learn as they go. Choose a fun, conversational style for filling out core competencies. This form lends itself well to group discussions and helps children identify strengths, weaknesses, and goals in a disarming fashion. Available in color and black and white to suit your printing needs.
Taxonomy chart. Help your students memorize the taxonomy order. Students can sort by the rainbow and/or by decreasing size. Once they get the hang of it, switch to mnemonic device and remove the clues of size and color. Can be used in small groups or as individuals. Make it a game. Use a timer to have them beat their own previous time!
