Traveling to the Land of Arithmetic: Fact Fleuncy
Encourage fact fluency with the students in your classroom by allowing them to "Traveling to the Land of Arithmetic" using a passport. As your students pass each of their facts they will be able to get a stamp in their passport.
Students can use this packet to encourage mastery of addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts. Included in this packet is the passport, daily assessment pages, passport inserts, parent letters, and fact sheet.

I have been teaching Kindergarten for four years! I have received my Reading Endorsement and English Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement as well. I am also working on completing my masters in Educational Leadership. In addition I have been working on Common Core implementation for my school for two years
Teaching style
I believe in student centered learning where the students are engaged in hands on activities. In my classroom I like to disguise learning as fun so we play lots of games! I believe that I am best able to meet the needs of my learners during center time. For most of the day I have my students work in differentiated centers either individually or in small groups. Students are then given the opportunity to work within their zone of proximal development while I can pull groups of students to work on specific skills.

I have a degree in Elementary Education, an ESOL endorsement, and a Reading endorsement. I am currently enrolled in a masters program for Educational Leadership
