Experience

I bring over a decade of math classroom teaching experience in both general education and special education. Most recently, I have taught high school math resource. I also tutor K-12 math outside of teaching.

Teaching style

I find great pride in knowing that students who did not enjoy math in previous years, leave my room loving it! The best way to a student's math heart is breaking it down to a level they understand and I do just that. It is very possible for even your most academically challenged students to understand higher level math. I strongly believe every child is willing to learn when you present the material in a way they understand it.
