This activity is based on Canada’s newest food guide. Students will answer questions based on what healthy eating means to them and design different meals in accordance to the expectations from the food guide. This activity is aligned with the Ontario Curriculum.

This document has the learning goal and success criteria for using voice in writing. There is a poster for your writing wall as well as mini learning goal and success criteria pages. These are great to print, cut out and staple onto student’s work. It is also a great idea to give students a copy of the learning goal and success criteria and have them assess their own work before giving teacher feedback! Enjoy!

This booklet is all about natural and artificial light. Here students are presented with different pictures of light sources and circling either the natural or artificial light sources. Then students are writing what each type of light means and then drawing an example of each. This is a great review activity, activity for students who are modified and/or ELL (English Language Learners) or are visual learners. This is created using the Grade 4 Ontario Science Curriculum.
