In this activity students will choose a region of Canada and create an advertisement for it. This activity includes an assignment page, graphic organizer, as well as a rubric based on the achievement chart categories: knowledge, application, communication and thinking. This resource is also based on the Grade 4 Ontario Social Studies Curriculum.

This PDF contains a poster with the big idea of mutiplication and division as well as a poster the learning goal and success criteria for both multiplication and division. There are also 4 different worksheets that allow students to demonstrate their understanding of 4 different multiplication or division strategies. This would be great for assessment as, for or of learning.

This activity is based on Canada’s newest food guide. Students will answer questions based on what healthy eating means to them and design different meals in accordance to the expectations from the food guide. This activity is aligned with the Ontario Curriculum.
