Experience

I have been teaching for 13 years. As a brand new teacher with no idea how to create a sequential curriculum rather than fun, one-off lessons, I am now passionate about saving you time by offering resources that create a well-rounded education that will help kids fall in love with music. When I am not teaching, I am at home with my family and beagle, Leonard Beaglestein, reading a book with a cup of coffee.

Teaching style

I believe that methods such as Orff and Kodaly all have their strengths but that there is not one right method. I combine the methods to create a well-rounded, sequential curriculum. I plan engaging, high-movement activities that get students creating music and collaborating.
