This resource is part of my growing Story Problem Boot Camp series. Choosing the problem type can be the hardest step in solving a story problem. This resource scaffolds this step. Students are asked to read the story problem and choose between two problem types. Then, they are asked to solve the story problem and answer with a number and unit.
This is a FREEBIE from my Story Problem Boot Camp series! These documents clearly define the different types of story problems for addition/subtraction and multiplication/division. Each problem type includes an example and equations to match.
