I have been an educator since 2002 with over 8 years of classroom experience and 10 years as a mathematics coach for grades K-12.
Teaching style
I believe that students learn through hands-on experiences that are connected to the abstract skills and concepts of our learning goals. In my classroom I use a range of activities from using manipulatives to group work to digital tools that engage students in learning mathematics.
My own education history
I have a B.S. in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I have a M.S. in Education Leadership from California State University East Bay.
