A great review game for the major human body systems studied in 5th grade. Systems included are digestive, circulatory, skeletal, respiratory, nervous and muscular. Categories are organzied by systems and questions focus on functions and relationships.
This is an activity I have done with 3-6th graders. Each student is 'given' $1000.00 to purchase Christmas presents for 4 people of their choosing. The goal is for them to spend as close to the $1000.00 as possible. Students must calculate tax and total amount.
I have, who has exponents and square roots is the classic game. There are 30 'cards'. I have formatted these with the Word Label Maker to print onto 2x4 shipping labels. This way you will be able to peel and stick them onto notecards and hand them out. The first/last card is labeled with an asterik so you know where to start. If you have less than 30 kids just give some of them more than one card.
A simple tic-tac-toe contract in the same format as many weekly spelling contracts. The contract has nine different activities to do with a set of multiplication facts.
A 25 box math reward chart. I used to reward students for good scores on Accelerated Math. You could really use for any math activity you want to encourage. These print 4 to a page.
