This is a lesson to introduce students to cells. In this lesson students will visit 5-6 centers on, History/discovery, Large cells, why cells are so small, three parts of a cell, Prokaryotes, and Eukaryotes. This lesson can be used as is or can be broken up to various mini lessons.

Students will make a drawing/schematic of a fictional robot based on the EM spectrum and a user manual explaining the details. Their manual will include all the information about the robot. This lesson has students using recycled goods ( shoe boxes, water bottles, empty milk jugs...) to make a monument as a team. Students then compare their monument to the pyramids and answer a few focus questions. Great intro activity for Egypt or the pyramids, also great team building activity.
