About the store
I'm passionate about Canadian education, as it runs in the family- my sister, my mother, and myself are all BC public school teachers! I am a BC Teacher who has 10+ years of experience teaching in this province, in addition to going through the BC education system myself as a student. I've taught various formats of secondary English, from Creative Writing to New Media to English First Peoples, grades 9-12, and even Grade 4 for a time. I create for not only my own English First Peoples classroom but also for my family's elementary music and 4th grade classrooms (teaching is the family business, after all!) You'll find a variety of resources here, mostly focused on senior English.

Teaching style

Is "The soul of a teacher near retirement in the body of a millenial who still has 30 years left" a teaching style? If so, that.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My honour is surviving my first year on contract during the 2019/2020 school year (I was a TOC for 4.5 years previous to that). I wear that badge with pride.

My own education history

Studied English, Psychology, and Education at SFU, UBC, Queen's, and also studied Scottish Literature at the University of Glasgow.
