About the store
I am an elementary school teacher in Ontario, Canada. For the first 10 years of my career, I worked in a French Immersion school, teaching at all division levels (Primary, Junior and Intermediate), and delivered curriculum in both English and French as a Second Language to students. For the last three years, I have been working in a dual-track Gifted school, as the Teacher-Librarian, as well as the Junior Core French teacher. My passion is ensuring that students have access to culturally responsive and relevant books that serve as "windows, mirrors and sliding glass doors" (Dr. Bishop, 1990). There is no greater joy than children seeing themselves reflected in stories, and connecting with peers through shared experiences in literature.
